Entomology: Oriental Beetle
Problem:
Oriental Beetle is an invasive species whose larvae cause destruction of the root system, and subsequent death, of plants.
Commercial Nurseries:
An infestation in a commercial nursery. Note the dead plants amidst the green, healthy plants.

Experiment Site:
The sod at the site of experiment side was cut to enable planting of test specimens. The cutter's name is Jeff.

The finished site uses alternating patches of Arborvitae and holly, chosen for their susceptibility to the oriental beetle.
